“To pressure customers into buying a product, Wellbeing Labs has a countdown timer that resets itself and the limited stock of gummies does not actually disappear and there is additional pressure from seeing customers “buy” gummies in the lefthand bottom corner.”

Wellbeing Labs was reported to the Deceptive Design Tip Line over pressure tactics on its product page. According to the report, the site features a countdown timer that resets itself, and the limited stock of gummies does not actually run out. The reporter adds that there is further pressure from notifications in the bottom left-hand corner showing other customers apparently buying the gummies.
