Twitter hides the option to opt out of notifications

Twitter makes it look as if the user has two options: “Enable Notifications” or “Only Important Notifications”. The option to decline is hidden: the user must locate the small grey “x” at the top left. Here, Twitter user Pete Zaback complains “This is a shitty dark pattern @nikitabier @elonmusk”
