“This company makes it impossible to stop withdrawal from accounts or to cancel subscriptions – the ability to do so via their website is somehow always broken, and when I attempt to contact the phone line hold times are excessive, and I feel guilted by the customer service person into keeping my subscriptiions.”

Mags.com was reported to the Deceptive Design Tip Line over the difficulty of stopping payments and cancelling subscriptions. According to the report, the website’s facility for cancelling subscriptions or stopping withdrawals from accounts is always somehow broken, and when the reporter tried the phone line instead the hold times were excessive and the customer service representative left them feeling guilted into keeping their subscriptions.
