Amazon was reported to the Deceptive Design Tip Line over the styling of its “Cart” button. According to the report, the “Cart” button is almost hidden by its colour compared with the more prominent “proceed to checkout” button. The reporter says they had hastily clicked through to checkout numerous times when they had only intended to review their purchase, while noting that this example was less serious than others.
